Malaysia is a member of FEMCA (see http://www.ozemail.com.au/~ifmar). However, if drivers from Malaysia wish to compete at the above events in Bangkok, they must be financial members of the Malaysian Association and their entries and entry fees must be submitted to the Association who will then forward them to the organiser in Bangkok. No individual entries from a country will be accepted.
Please contact aaron@rcmrc.com to enquire about membership and the submission of your drivers' entries and fees.

Sebelum kita bermimpi untuk ikut serta aktiviti FEMCA, cuba dapatkan penerangan keatas syarat dibawah.
"Drivers from FEMCA countries wishing to attend any of the above events must be financial members of their country's recognised national association and have to submit their entry details and entry fees through their national association."
Saya tak faham dan cara bagaimana nak jadi financial member.

FEMCA LETTER AND INVITATION
TO ALL FEMCA MEMBER COUNTRIES Dear Members
Over the years, every endeavour has been made to hold the FEMCA 1/8th IC On-road Championships (and more recently the 1/10th IC also) every 2 years but, sometimes, this has not always been possible for various reasons. At a recent FEMCA Meeting, it was agreed that there is a need to continue to hold the FEMCA 1/8th and 1/10th IC Championships every 2 years in the even years (in the alternate year to the IFMAR 1/8th event), the main reason being to ensure that the continuity of the events is maintained on a regular basis but, more importantly, that drivers from the FEMCA member countries have the opportunity to meet together to compete and strengthen the FEMCA Family.
In addition, FEMCA Championships for other classes, such as 1/8th off-road buggy, 1/5th IC on-road, 1/10th ISTC and 1/12th electric on-road and 1/10th electric off-road could also be held every 2 years in the alternate years to the IFMAR World Championships event for that particular class. The National organisation in each FEMCA country and clubs or organisations within a FEMCA country are invited to host a FEMCA Championship so please contact John Grant, FEMCA President on ifmar@ozemail.com.au as soon as possible so that preparations and an announcement can be made to all FEMCA members.
In order for FEMCA to remain a strong and competitive Bloc and to ensure that each FEMCA country feels that it is participating fully as a member of the FEMCA Bloc, whenever a FEMCA country plans to host an international event, e.g. an Asian Championship or an Invitational Race, it is requested that this country send me details and the entry form for the event at least 3 to 6 months prior to the event. The information will then immediately be distributed to all FEMCA member countries so that each country is aware of the event and can circulate all details to its members without delay so that, any intending competitors can commence their travel plans, etc.
All FEMCA countries must remember that several FEMCA countries are separated by great distances and, therefore, travel is costly. However, if early advice of FEMCA events is received, it is often possible to obtain cheaper flights and package deals - thus making travel not quite as expensive.
STATUS OF FEMCA WITHIN IFMAR: All FEMCA members are reminded that the Far East Model Car Association (FEMCA) is the only organisation in the Far East area, including Australia and New Zealand, which is recognised by the world-governing body, IFMAR and is authorised to allocate places to FEMCA countries. As there are now 4 voting Blocs within IFMAR, the initial allocation to each Bloc is 32 places. Any driver wishing to compete at any IFMAR World Championship event must be a current financial member of his/her country's national RC car organisation and his/her World Championship entry and entry fee must be submitted by this national organisation to FEMCA which then collates all FEMCA entries and fees and forwards them to IFMAR. IFMAR does not accept direct entries from any individual driver, either prior to the event or at the event.
Finally, I do ask you all to consider FEMCA's invitation to host a FEMCA Championship - everyone will enjoy the competition and, just as important, meeting and making new friends in the FEMCA Bloc.
Best regards to you all John Grant President, FEMCA. source: IFMAR
