n sunday till 4PM

cheh! but this TX is the same that came with our nano dragon2...it is a nice TX

i used it on my mini-z's and works fine...i do think that u can use both AM and FM on it...

maybe they ciplak this time kaw kaw...and finally came out with something nice...

had no probs with this TX yet...

but i already bought M11 so no time for this one hahaha...

for me the AFM... the freq can change either am or fm....bcos the tx module can be change from am to fm...the fm modulation of the freq done by the tx module..at the web site i given...they shown that fm tx module and receiver fm also....can done also with am...the best is ...still using the same tx..and than with 10 memory sets.... they also said futaba compatible.... may be we can use 3pk synthesizer sets or better for example spectrum module....but no body want to test it.. 

me thinks they both use the same designed board....
only they opt for different looks...
so, me think AFM's tx module can also be use with LS2....

okay, i've bought the LS2 (it's cheap, n the only one available here)
(if at the shop got AFM, i surely have bought it)
what do all wanna know??.....i'm still learning bout it's funtion from futaba's manual

1-10model memory, model rename, model copy & model clear --> TRUE
2-PPM & HRS (if futaba's) ---> FALSE, it operate on PPM, i still cant change it to HRS
3-3ch at SW2 can trim n operate from D/R or ATL --> TRUE, but i cant test due to 2ch Rx
4-mechanical brake stopper aka mech trim (3PM hav this) --> FALSE
5-steering tension mech adjust ---->TRUE
what else??....

may be we can use 3pk synthesizer sets or better for example spectrum module....but no body want to test it..

can u elaborate for me?.....u mean 3PK's synthesizer is on a daughter board??....
so i can juz buy that n plug in on a 3PM??

bcoz, if u look at the full AFM2 offerings (thanx yiela), they hav both AM n FM....
n if u guys can help me out, what's the use of that other TX MODULE??
(on AFM2 listing got the set that came with module)...

don't think so la bro.. it is not just the crystal is in AM, the component inside also is having AM module.. unless is you are an expert electronic .. may be you can change the component inside bought from local electronics shop.

okay....here's the review....
they both looks the same (almost)....except
(LS2 for long sun 02, AFM2 for inopo AFM2)

1-AFM2 do not opt for "futaba look", some design adjustment done, LS2 looks futaba

2-AFM2 got that LED backlight (screen), LS2 dont hav that....

3-if based on AFM2's overview, AFM2 only got 2 channel...LS2 got 3 (i've operated it)
SW2 on right og steering is for 3ch on off,
then the 3ch can be assign to D/R or ATL trim (at the thumb)
hmmmm...maybe they are the same.... LS2 spec also stated it's 2ch

they all differ from futaba at the GRIP...
futaba's got that SW1 for timer...(lap timer)

so head to head, if it's me, i'll choose AFM2 for that different look n the cool backlight
(i dun wanna others to call me futaba wannabe user) hahahaaa

so, back with my question..... if it's an AM set, can it be change to FM set??....

i'm confused......if it's a copy of 3PM, how can it be an AM set??....
3PM is FM PPM modulated, right?....
i've seen the manual, it's direct copy n altered from futaba's manual...
the manual even got 3PM stated in it, at few pages

n if it's really an AM set, can i convert it back to FM PPM set?
