Data center has been attack at 2.30PM today, inform by service provider and back to normal now, at 4.30PM. 2hrs, cannot access.

I'm not sure attack by what, maybe virus is common thing. Now, I need to backup the database first. Cry

This maintainance server company should be punish, not the web hoster.

Cuma pandangan aku..

   Memang kehilangan data amatlah memeritkan... bagi host sendiri lebihlaaa berat... aku tgk forum ni memang gak ramai yg masuk dan jadi members, termasuk aku la.. byk info aku dpt mengenai RC walaupun aku lebih QD..  

Anyways, dgn ini, forum ni boleh dibina semula dgn lebih mantap.. kira we can start from scratch towards a better end product..  

AKu kira rosdi ni tabahn penyabar gak la org dia.. idak mesti dia dah bawak parang.. heheheh  Cheesy

yeahhh that most important to chose any web hosting provider.. mistake formating hard disk just a bull cirit.. not profesional provider.. how if that important data to business company???  Embarrassed  rosdi qd-race hosting di company mana?

lebih baik kita hosting sendiri.. kan senang.. buy one server.. buy one ip.. and 24hrs internet line.. lebih murah.. sendiri jaga.. sendiri buat silap..

Mereka men format server (220) iaitu server utama dan juga telah disimpankan back-up file dari server (221).

If you don't understand it :-

They formated the server 220 that is the main server and the one that contain backup files from (migrated) server 221.

This is one of the downside of NAS. One silly(f@$#*^&  "good") error and you can say goodbye to your data.

Been there - the irony is my host blame hacker that bring down some server in Japan. What a loser....... Angry

We don't do this because the Admin Server make monthly backup before they do monthly maintenance.

This time, the service provider (not the Web Hoster) wrongly format the server where in this server.

They are suppose to make maintenance to co-location server that is telesign.mynetservers.com (219) and backup data has been moved to cyberjaya.mynetservers.com (220) for this purpose.

At 7 pm, all web from this server cannot be accessed. Server (220) - main server and back-up files from server (221) wrongly formated.

This time, we need to backup the database in weekly duty to the pc.
