Just got an IM from Esham, the G.Lang track is temporarily unavailable to make way for some event the managment is holding soon.

The Gunong Lang management had changed hand. Thus that must be the reason of the change of heart. I remember being told that the State is looking at making a permanent track at Gunong Tempurong but the project will materialize only next year.

The Majlis Tindakan Pelancongan Negeri have allocated PARCRA a budget to hold a race in June. So everyone lets show them RC in Perak is still surviving inspite the future looks bleek.

Meanwhile I will be meeting the DBI to allow us to use Stadium Indra Mulia albeit temporary.

You better go see the 'Gunung Lang Track'. It's not there anymore. All the ropes & wooden fixtures have been removed, the drivers stand are placed upright. The tyre barriers have been removed too. 

Looks like we will be heading back to the Indera Mulia carpark next week.

RC in Ipoh Dying?    I thought already dead and buried.

My friends from the United States drop-by last week to my house.....old university friend.  We...actually 4 of us went and play RC at Gunung Lang track few days ago.  What a disgrace to Ipoh for me to show both of my friends from the states where do we play RC every weekends.  Although they did not have any sarcastic comment about the track but from their faces I can tell that they are really dissappointed because they thought it was a closed and permanent track.    They feels sorry for me and all the RC guys who have to endure all this because back home...all the tracks are closed and permanent tracks built by the government.  Anyway they congratulate all those who work very hard to built the Gunung Lang track.  Something is better than nothing!!  They say that the Ipoh authority is "stup** and blind" especially the one who is in charge of the Ipoh town...as we all know well who it is!!  RC is going to die in Ipoh if something is not done to get a permanent track....as what been told to me by my friend.  I already told them that Malaysia have permanent track and only Ipoh don't have any and that is why I need to drive to Kuala Lumpur and play RC at Titiwangsa track this week.  Sorry to say but my friend who's friend were playing RC together that day works with the RC Magazine and one is a sponsered driver!  I am sure our Ipoh track will be published in their magazine soon.  Who knows what they will say about it!!   Pictures already taken at the track.  What a "good" impression of Ipoh track to them!!

sejak kebelakangan ini tangan saya rasa semacam aje, sudah basuh pun gtal lagi, apa apa agak ya ?

pada hujung minggu ni kami akan mengadakan perlumbaan rc gp @ ep (lumba haram aka rempit) kepada semua peserta yang ingin menyertai boleh lah berbuat demikian kerana bayaran untuk single race adalah seringgit. kiraan lap dan juga masa menggunakan sistem komputer yang dikendalikan oleh esham aka rimao...
kepada yang mampu bayar seringgit dijemput hadir bagi memeriahkan lagi sesi merempit di gunung lang pada 14hb januari 2007.
