'Just got back to Sydney from Malaysia, Wow the hospitality was great, we got driven by coach to the track each day and back, had waiters taking food orders all day in the pits, " Iced Coffee anyone, Sushi?" , and the track was FAST and HOT! more later.'
Well done organizer...

What Chee Yong said is true. Not only Chee Yong benefited the exprience with Hara. FYI, my KO ESC has been installed with settings provided by Hara. It is not right to say Hara is a bratt. To me he is nice and humble person. So are Surikarn, Alan Yau, and the rest.
In fact I've learned a lot in this race despite of all the shortcomings. I entered this race with an objective not to be the last. I achieved my objective by qualifying 35th out of 44 runners. In the D main finals I have to battle hard againsts the Philipinos and my team mate Abg Zahari. I got the podium 2nd runner up and Abg Zahari was crowned as D Main Champ. Garet from the Philipines was the 1st runner up.
There is still a lot to learn & the experience is worth spent.
The Femca proved to us that we still had a great deal to learn. ... ... My hats off to both Hara and Oscar. Who am I to deserve such attention ? I believe these guys were just being themselves at the same time doing their job. They would just help anyone. I guess we just need to simply approach these guys in the events we need assistance and not let others influence us that they are pratts or brats. Its simply not true. I guess those who say so are just simply plain jealous of them being too good.
Cheers.
This is what majority of us wanted to hear, 1st party stories & not second hand or 3rd party stories. Sometimes, we just can't avoid getting this kind of damaging stories simply 'cos of lack of updates from those who were there & really in the thick of the action.
Anyway, glad to hear that you enjoyed the experience & I'm sure there are more with similar experience like you.
"Improved on the good things & avoid the same mistakes/shortcomings by being thoroughly-prepared."
The Femca proved to us that we still had a great deal to learn. The speed, handling, set-up, etc...these guys had just ripped us apart. All local drivers struggled although we had the upper hand of home ground advantage. I too struggled with horsepower, was lost as in where else to gain more power. Guess who came to my rescue?..... Atsushi Hara! Our schedule was hectic but he rebuilt my motor n tested it till he himself was satisfied n it did took quite a bit of time. Oscar Jansen was seated beside Hara n he gave the confused look as in why is Hara testing a DC motor for an idiot like me. I did gain a little more power from the rebuilt Hara did for me but still not enough. And guess what again? Hara walked over and asked me if i'm satisfied? I said better but still not enough. Then Oscar Jansen came over to my table to pass me a V2 motor and assured me that i'll be happy with it! Later, Oscar Jansen even handed a Team Orion 3700 SPII battery pack to me asking me to use it for more power. Later, Oscar mentioned Hara asked him to help me find more power. I went on to qualify 8th overall. Achieving my personal target of qualifying in the top 10. My hats off to both Hara and Oscar. Who am I to deserve such attention ? Finally, Femca had come to an end. 5 days of racing is taxing for both man n machine. Yes, i agree that the race wasn't organised in the best possible manner but nevertheless the racing was world class! And I myself did learnt a great deal of new stuffs!! With what i have learnt, i can confidently say that i'll be much much faster from now on. Atsushi Hara did withdraw from the race. He did not walk-out of the race. There is a fine line between withdrawing n walking out of a race. When he withdrew, he was still the fastest in TQ unmatched. He didn't have the fastest car but did have the best hands. The reason he withdrew as he mentioned to me was bcoz the race wasn't carried out in accordance to IFMAR / International rules n standards. He did mentioned that he loves Malaysia n the friends that he has here n will definitely be back. His 1st race outside of Japan after winning the worlds was in Malaysia 5 years back therefore he has fond memories and a soft spot for Malaysia. He is very sad that Femca has to end like this for him.
