Introducing Rising Storm, our second buggy released on the new DF-02 chassis. This second release features an eye-catching body shape with unique tail wing and air-intake design. Body also features pre-marked cut-line making it easy to install option part TT-01 Aluminum Motor Heat Sink (Item #53664). With high-quality front and rear oil dampers providing excellent suspension performance, Rising Storm provides exciting off road driving and thrilling jumps.


About the Model
Overall length: 395mm
Second release for the shaft-driven 4WD DF-02 chassis featuring longitudinally mounted motor and battery layout.
Low center of gravity, wide bathtub chassis and wide tread provides extra stability and superb handling.
Semi-bearing drive train using 8 ball bearings for reduced friction leading to extra speed.
Steering linkage uses turn-buckle shaft for easy toe adjustment.
Kit includes a Type-540 motor and electronic speed controller.
Separately sold option parts including DF-02 Aluminum Damper Set (Item #53701), TT-01 Aluminum Motor Heat Sink (Item #53664) and RS-540 Sport Tuned Motor (Item #53068) can easily turn this kit into a high-performance racing buggy.

Chassis offers the ultimate in improved running performance, with balance and center of gravity optimized to like never before. Thorough re-examination of parts layout has distilled this chassis into a lean, mean racing machine, with ease of maintenance taken to the next level as well. The prototype model of this new chassis has already shown impressive results, coming in 1st place at the Reedy Race Europe.

Main Chassis: 2.5mm thick carbon frame designed for use with new bulkheads
Upper Deck: Short-type, 2mm thick carbon deck designed for use with new bulkheads
F/R Bulkheads: Feature newly designed upper mount (without stiffener)
Rear Bulkhead: Elongated towards front, improved durability and maintenance. Built in motor mount heat sink
F/R Damper Stay: 3mm carbon, designed for use with new bulkheads
