Today I'm flying back to UAE. Just some advise to my fellow friends.

KRCC

Bila membuat hujah & pertanyaan jgn menjadi seorang pak Pandir. Jgn mulakan apa-apa konflik terbuka. Anda kenal pak ya secara peribadi mengapa tidak bertanya melalui IM atau email.

Mr Ong Chee Yong

I understand your intention to see new development in local RC. We all understand that FEMCA race will boost local RC to the next level. But one race will not see our same dream fulfilled. It is a continuous effort from everybody.

Are you willing to listen to the other side --> that FEMCA race is not actually what it is supposed to be. When you think about the commercial aspects of the race, will the money be channelled for RC development in Malaysia. Pls think why only a handful racers have registered for the race. What we see is that some parties are making big bucks out of the race. No doubt you and your racing buddies are dedicated in seeing malaysia to be like thailand. However, don't be cowed and blinded by your great enthusiast, we hope there is a definition or a thin line to seperate commercialism and development. Also pls ask yourself what has RCMRC provided to see the local RC developed. Who has fill up the gap when this year not everybody is willing to organise EP racing ? Simple EP is dying. It is the small organiser who is doing the job in developing the scene but at the end the big gun steals the show in the name of development.

I do hope your Tamiya Series is as good as you have posted. Pls go around & ask the small fish. Are they really go for it Huh?? Hope it won't run into trouble and die like the Xenon & LRP Challenge. Pls remember it is the small fish who has been supporting the RC development. At least the small fish has the guts to say it out.

I may talk nonsense, but I represented the silent majority. Pls listen to us the nonsence fellas and small fish.

Sorry I have to say this. They more you say on the topic ..... will only make the topic out of hand. Pls concentrate on racing, because we need you to be the malaysian surikarn.

Everybody

Bye for this is my last day on the forum.

Rosdi

Tolong keluarkan nama saya sebagai moderator dari forum ini. Terima kasih kerana memberi peluang kpd saya menjadi salah seorang moderator.

Pak Ya

Pls continue with your effort. Eventhough you are sometime very harsh but I see your vision. We have not met but I know you well through postings & fellow racers. I will still be a member here & pls IM me if you need any help.

Hi

First of all,on behalf of MARCC commitee I would like to stress out that MARCC does not sanction the Norex Race as part of MNC. We make our stand based on the followings :

1) The Norex race date clashes with FEMCA race. We recognise the importance of FEMCA race as the a premier and major RC event for our country.
2) The  dates proposed to MARCC by the organiser has been changing since September 2005. Until today there have been four changes on the racing dates and this has distrupted the MNC racing calender. Therefore the commitee has decided to drop the Norex Race from our racing calender.
3) The MARCC commitee has no authority and full control on the finals when the GP finals are "runned" on the 2nd  day. Initially the two categories are proposed to be "runned" on  seperate dates.

Based on the above we have decided not to sanction the race. MARCC and MNC are not liable to any complaints arise from the Norex race.

Rgds

Zulkifli Yazid
Chairman MARCC

TireCanotEnough,

Carpet race requires soft tires with a very hard suspension setup to begin with. Last time I used Sorex 20R

Cheers.

Aiya, pak ya, pak ya.
Festive season ma. I'm only asking for some fish cakes from our friends who celebrate Deepavali or Raya.  Grin

RC Enthusiast...

On a serious note, before I begin I'm not shooting anyone here.  RC currently is slow. I agree if we can get to have sponsors for races, by all means we should jump on it.
On the other hand, what we all had been doing all this while is to develop RC here in Malaysia. By bringing FEMCA to Malaysia is a great step forward in developing RC.  MNC or all other races combined, cannot match the prestige / developement / the awareness / the technological or knowledge transfer / the status / etc of only 1 FEMCA race.  Its definitely not just for Top guns or the rich and famous! FEMCA is for us Malaysian RC enthusiast!
A local race compared to FEMCA? even if a local race has a thousand entries and FEMCA has only 60, the world will be looking at FEMCA!
Imagine if we all join hands like we do for MNC and make FEMCA the greatest EP race ever in Malaysia. RC manufacturers / the RC world will take note, RC development will rocket in Malaysia just like Thailand.
All RC supporters, if you sincerely want RC to develop, this is 1 big opportunity. I know it is expensive but I am sure we can choose to run with minimal budget. I am also sure the FEMCA organisers will still accept local entries.
Come on Malaysia, we have to make Malaysia BOLEH!!

Cheers.

WWW
With EP & GP going on the final day, we better have radio impound. With that many participants, someone switching on their radio unintentionally can cause problems for those who are racing.

OCY, don't worry, we are still coming for the Tamiya race on the 18th. I will be using the TA04 that nobody seems to want to buy  from me for the Super Stock race  Grin

Seriously, any tips on how to setup the car for carpet??  Undecided

There is nothing fishy going on here. This is a RC forum not a fish market. Do not look at it as a an effort to undermind or sabotage.

Race date was set by the Organizer inconjunction with their expo. We as a RC race organizer had to accept the date. If we refuse it is not the Norex Organizer that lose, but us the RC enthusiast.

If everyone notice this race IS not part of the MNC. This is to avoid being unfair to those that cannot attend this race. This also as an avenue for those fringe drivers to take part. We have been talking about the lack of sponsors for RC, but when one surface should we say NO because it will compromise another race where Asian Top Guns and rich and famous are competing and at the same time deprive lesser beings to play.

If you read my earlier message, I had apologies to any other RC race organizers for the inconvenience.

I have explained my position to the MNC chairman and my priority is still Perak RC. If NOREX is label as 2nd class so be it.

Selamat Hari Raya.

BERITA TERKINI !!!!!.

Saya baru menerima pengesahan dari NOREX Organizer bahawa RC Challenge akan diadakan pada;

Tarikh : 10 hb & 11hb December 2005
Tempat : Tapak Letak Kereta Lost World of Tambun
Acara : Sabtu 2.00ptg - Saringan Kelayakan GP
Ahad 9.00pg - Saringan Kelayakan EP (Modified / Stock)
2.00ptg - Pertandingan akhir GP dan EP
                     6.00ptg - Penyampaian Hadiah-hadiah.

Segala pendaftaran sila buat di;
HP # - 0125185649 atau
Tel # 05-3123333 sbg 8341 atau
Fax # 05-3125333 attn Yahaya.
