Untuk Ketogori Stock sahaja mungkin boleh dicadangkan Open Bodyshell. Tahun depan ke atau MNC5 pun ok.
Saingan bodyshell tercantik lebih meriah and penonton dapat melihat berbagai aneka jenis kenderaan untuk Novice.
Saya pun jemu jugak, balik-balik Dodge,Mazda6 dan seangkatan dengannya.

kalau tak silap saya, jenis model kereta untuk bodyshell dalam MNC adalah open cuma organizer limitkan kepada jenis sedan sahaja.
so kalau you rasa nak pakai model lain selain dari (Mazda 6, Nemesis, Stratos dan Honda Accord) yang berbentuk sedan, you are free to do so.

Bagi racers, pemilihan bodyshell adalah berdasarkan pada spesifikasi, struktur dan design bodyshell bukannya hanya kecantikkan, sebab tuuu kalau dilihat kebanyakkan racer hanya guna segelintir jenis model bodyshell yang sama... (Mazda 6, Nemesis, Stratos dan Honda Accord). Ini adalah kerana design bodyshell (Mazda 6, Nemesis, Stratos dan Honda Accord)  membantu racer dalam pengendalian kereta. Kalau you tengok international race pun....  kebanyakkan pro menggunakan jenis bodyshell yang sama... ini kerana performance dan easy handling yang terdapat pada design bodyshell tersebut yang mengikuti cara pemanduan driver/racers.

The forum as you say is free for everybody why not let the experts discuss it somewhere suitable.

The UN also a forum for people to discuss issues. But alas is still ineffective.

from your posting you are adamant to put your point across for each and every comments made as if there is an agenda. You are one of those Nicks that pop-up after a race give a lot of comments and advice than disappear forever. We have a lot of people like you before.

At least the AJK tried without any financial support  from any where and EP drivers have their half bake MNC. At least it is there for everyone to see and to have fun.

The Malaysian National Championship is born by the needs of the EP drivers and participated by like minded people. It will not stop because it is said to be not done right or outsiders feel it is no different from others or it is not good enough.

Well better someone prove your words by doing it better.

Currently someone tell me WHAT OTHER RACE is there for the EP drivers? -

FEMCA Race ?
- How many participants?
- how much to pay?
- how frequent?

Do not let people who give a lot of ideas but does not lift a finger to help detrack us from acheiving what we have set-out to do.

p.s I do not need to prove to anyone how long I have been in RC. I was racing in the old Titiwangsa track before it was relocated.

Aslm, Pak Ya..!!

Saya bergitu terharu dah rasa dipermainkan kerana saya menuggu kemunculan slot MNC4 di Warta jam8 sebagaiman yang Pak Ya beritahu dan jika betul pun mungkin cuma hanya disiarkan pada warta jam 12 sahaja? di rancangan  TV1 (sukan.com) tempuh hari also i'm very-very dissapointed..!!!!, tunggu punya tunggu slot mengenai RC tak juga muncul sampai lah keakhir rancangan (nasib baik pengacara CUN nak marah pun tak jadi). Apa dah terjadi ? adakah juru kamera yang merakamkan temubual Pak YA dan dan sedikit aksi ketika MNC4 di litar TitiWangsa sekadar Gimik sahaja? adakah kerana Datin sri pihak RTM terpaksa membuat liputan sekadar buat syarat sahaja
Saya betanya pada diri saya kalau begini lah caranya bagaimanlah hobby RC di negara kita ni nak maju dan diperkenalkan secara umum kerana pihak yang bertanggung jawab tidak berkerjasama.
Sedih saya amat sedih... Frust..!!!!  

Harap Pak YA can give some info regarding this matter and please take this seriously for the sake of our RC in this country.

The 1 biggest contirbutor to our R/C EP scene or MNC is definitely this thread. Many put forward their opinion openly which I feel helped fine tuned the MNC. Keep it coming but please don't take things too personally.

I second your opinion. The biggest culprits are those LHS who had chosen to leave EP to rot!
And regarding Tamiya with MNC, this is one option that was suggested.

Don't know about you guys, I am just waiting for Round 5. Had a disappointing race weekend due totally to my own oversight but I am already preparing for the next round  

I am still happy with the outcome b'cos I manage to claw my way out of the bottom.   (Tire & Rim came undone hence my new username.  )

It's all for fun. The economy is not very good at the moment. There isn't a big enough market for major manufacturers to come in and organise races. Except Tamiya. There is a big race coming up (FEMCA) but too expensive for most to consider taking part in. The MNC's all we got at the moment. So lighten up everyone.

I think the drift event should be held in Ipoh next time. The place where we play every weekend, you don't need plastic pipes or special drift tires. Sorex 40R also can drift. (Courtesy of DBI - Sand Provided FOC)

Please always look at the positive side....I personally talk to Pak Ya, U now. I malu sendiri....beb. He has alot of drive to make sure EP car class get the best, even he loose money. Bukan sikit maa.....

My suggestion to him just organise budget or fun race...to bringdown the cost to new come....he said, no. It's not his way. We must do it properly....even he loose some money......WOW!!!! tabik spring...macam nie. I think, we need 10 people like that.

For me, I will support this race as racer dan cuba tolong mana yang termampu.....kempen kat kawan main RC yg tak mau masuk race supaya masuk.....modified stock is good stater....pada Otai...yg tak mau masuk race.

Saya juga tak puas hati....BUT!!!!!.....tak puas hati sebab nak race lagi.....mau close the gap with OCY if not beat him...next time come with 4WD.....Fighting spirit ma.......tak boleh biar nie..

Keep going, we must look forward. I think we should focus on how to improve the MNC. Something likes

I would like to start a drive to collect donation from corporate bodies and well wishers for us to send MNC Champions & Top finishers to international races.

Therefore I'm inviting readers to be with me in this voluntary work. Anybody interested pls make your pledge here.

Let us work together to keep EP racing alive in Malaysia.

P/S - Some of us can contribute thru racing, thru race organistaion, thru club and association administration, by becoming RC supplier, etc. At least with this work we can see EP racing more lively next year.

[1) Keeping the sport alive]

Some ppl said MNC has no objective because what's next after winning the championship. Some ppl said MNC is half baked & not properly run.

But one thing bear in mind, MNC is still in its first year and making its stride. The sport is actually dying. In fact most LHSes have abandoned EP except for a few.

Objectively we cannot see MNC as a platform to what's next. Reading previous posting on the issue, the first year objective is almost achiveable :

1) Keeping the sport alive

This is what MNC has done. At least 4 RD of racing has been runned and there will be one more coming. Beside these 4 events, what else for EP - Tamiya Invitation with 31 participants(3 contestant from Singapore included), pre FEMCA with 18 runners, Hobby Haven endurance race with 7 teams, Hobby Haven night race with 9 starters.  

Yes the sport is dying. MNC is keeping the sport alive. Just imagine if no MNC. Today I can see LHS like Hobby Haven is working hand in hand with the organiser by providing the transponder and encouraging team drivers to take part. But where are other LHS ?

Without MNC - is the sport kept alive ?

2) Gathering of Malaysian racers.

Before MNC, races were run locally, race in Perak for Perakian, race in Johore for Johorean, race in KL & Selangor only those in KL & Selangor will take part. Today MNC has made the gathering of Malaysian racers possible. Also today we know most Malaysian racers at least by their name and we know how good they are. Before this who knew Acang, Cik Li, HaG, Piko, RAMFIT, Uthaya, Ng, R man, etc. Even Ben the commentator, who knew him. Today through MNC all this is possible.

3) New talent.

Before MNC where are the new talents. Only Hafiz Jr & his brother. This is because the dedication of their father. Today we can see Piko, Nik Ahmad, Aan (the youngest racer), Foong Kam Loy, just to name a few. All this talent blossom through MNC.

4) Race organisation.

Before this we do not have proper rules despite we have FEMCA rep. But rules are to be implemented. The special commitee have come up with their R & R and they have implemented it.

If I'm not mistaken early this year, the special commitee has advertised for race organiser, but no takers, why ? Maybe most organisers & LHS think its not worth. However, RCCC, qd-race & KRCC have taken up the challenge - with no financial aid they have given us the MNC.

There still a lot we can write about MNC. Pls don't say MNC is without objective because the objective of MNC is not solely for MNC champions and top racers. Rather it is for everybody. If MNC is strong financially and has the backing of all LHS or corporate bodies, I'm sure we can send not only one but 10 racers abroad.

Therefore pls support MNC. Let us leave out nitty gritty issues like marshalling, "stock-modified", etc. All these we can solve offline.

My suggestion - Let us combine MNC with the Tamiya series. The beginners can run in the Tamiya series while MNC (only modified) will run in the Open Category. Hence we can see the objective - development of young talents, race organisation, firm financial support and last we can send out racer abroad.

My 2 cents. Hope all the best for the EP sports.

Sorry if I've offended you. That is not my intention. Sorry bro.
In this real world, we don't run from problems or issues. We solve them. There is how we can become better.

I'm still learning just like you. It's not anybody fault on the issue of checking motors. many factor rises behind it. I don't know the best method to check stock motor but at least with this issue, A discussion can be made positively and people like us can gain the benefit of it. Pro like Chee Yong can at least explained to us the best method use nowadays especially when technology can't wait and our pocket is our constrain.
