Hi guys,

Our carpeted indoor track should be ready by the weekend. The size of the track is gonna be reasonable. Longer than Subang Speedway but a little narrower. We use to race mods on tracks half the size. So it shouldn't be a problem. Come over n test it out n give us feedbacks on how we could improve on it.

Thanks.

Cheers.

to put a little size perspective into the proposed track.... it's slightly longer than Hobby Haven's Subang Speedway but narrower. Due to building construction, it also inherits the potential danger of having thick walls on 2 side and quite big pillars on the other 2 sides  Grin (something novice drivers at SS won't really appreciate LOL)

Hey guys, Chee Yong showed me the space reserved for the permanent track. Don't expect it to be big like Glenmarie or Titiwangsa lah (1 Utama rental wor) but for 1:10 touring, it'll be quite tight and interesting. Not sure how the actual track will look like. The space is a bit long and narrow. Maybe for Tamiya M series cars, or for a mini 1:16 scale Frog, it'll be just about the right size.

Sorry didn't take any pics, so you guys go check it out yourself. Cheesy

Thanks for clarifying things.

I'll consider entering the buggy race if the price of the buggy is right Smiley
(also the price of the approved motor, battery packs, Tamiya bearings, and maybe those nice blue shocks and spring set too.) Wink

sim,

Any sort of esc maybe used for buggy n 4WD GT including reversible. However, if an accident is caused due to a reversing car in the midst of a race, the driver will be penalised.

Battery connectors from esc to battery must be standard type tamiya connectors in all classes. Connectors from esc to motor maybe changed for both buggy n GT class whereas for stock must remain with the tamiya bullet type connectors.

Tamiya do make shock oils which are color coded.

Cheers

I understand the rules are very strict about hop-ups being tamiya, including screws and O-rings.  Shocked

What about shock oil? Tamiya doesn't seem to make any shock oil in standard kinwald weights Sad

Chee Yong,

Are reversible speed controllers allowed in buggy and GT? Thanks.

Also, under general rules, it says no modifying the battery connectors but in the specific rules, it says you can change to other connectors as long as you leave the wires at least 3cm long. Please clarify this for us.

Thanks.
