Help me about Gen 3

Hai Guyz  Smiley

Saya nak tahu cemana cara pasang relay 5/6/8 pins? boleh tunjuk kn saya tak.. bOleh ajar saya tak?  Grin
saya main gen 3 jugak kat kampong tpi gen 3 saya tak lah laju sangat sebab saya cuma ganti rim n tyre je.. tpi tak jugak mau laju2 nya..   Sad saya pakai battery GP2300 pun masih tidak laju.. jadi saya bercadang ingin upgrade gen 3 saya dgn memasang Relay tetapi masalah nya saya tak tahu cemana nak pasal..  Huh ada sesiapa yg tau tak? tOlong saya please..

hey you guys ... anybody knows where to get relay sets and bearings nowadays ar ?

and can the "stock engine" as in the motor behind d car b used as a "steering motor" .. coz i've upgraded my car wt a more powerful engine but wondering can i use the stock engine to replace the "weak"steering motor ?

Mabuhay hellspeed,

I've successfully installed 3 relays into the Gen 3 without any glitches. Credits to diagrams provided by talingchan, I've redrawn the diagram to suit the Gen 3 layout. The 3 relays (as opposed to the common 2) prevent wheel locks.

If you need clarification on the diagram, feel free to ask.

The rear bearing specs should be about 6 X 2.5 X 2
Outer Diameter (OD) 6 mm
Inner Diameter (ID or Bore) 2.5 mm

as for the front wheels, with some modifications, we'll probably be able to put a 5 X 2.5 X 4 bearings.

International Bearings has offices in KL, JB and Pen.

Ask for NMB Brand. They produce miniature bearings with bore sizes ranging from 1 - 10 mm.

But I'm not sure they do retail.

Hi hellspeed,
I think u still can use your 1st generation setup for the gen-3. It doesn't have much differences..  If u used relays for your 1st gen racetin before, then use it back on gen3. Anyway u still can check these website..  Grin

Apa plak takder...Tak semestinya cari bearing utk RC kat kedai hobi... sussah sgt cari dlm yellow pages...Cari supplier utk bearing...Dah dapat address, p kat kedai tu...
Price bearing tu utk gen 3 dalm rm5 - rm6 per pc...Info specs utk bearing tu ada dalam topik ni..
KL lagi mudah nak cari...

i use there tyres included with the hopup wheels....there are 2 types: soft and hard.....use the hard one...

then wrap SOME part of the tyres with electrical tape....

about weight.....it means make ur car heavier in front so u get some grip to turn......i make my front heavier by sticking a big (and quite heavy) nut on the steering mech. with double sided tape.....

oh I see,...erm.... I'm new to drifting...please tell me specifically what's grip tyre(as far as I know there r only like 2 patterns of tyre for gen3[stock&those that come wif wheel hop up set])& what is weight in front?
