if you want your cells to perform:
1. DO NOT OVERHEAT them
1.1 soldering: make sure you use a 60W+ soldering iron.
                      make sure contact between cell and iron is less than
                      3 seconds. COUNT 1-2-3 let go. If soldering not done
                      yet, move on to another cell 1st, the let hot cell cool.
                      make sure the iron is chisel tipped and is allowed to
                      heat up every solder. Practice b4 assembling your cells.
                      If not leave it to experienced people.
Because of using a 30W iron i have spoilt a few old packs. Also, less                solder(tin) is better. Not more.

1.2 Do not overcharge them. If possible monitor the temperature. It should never exceed 50C under any circumstance. You should be able to hold the pack without feeling hot.

As for general care and usage of cells, use a peak charger. Make sure at the end of charge the cells are not cooked, but just warm.

How to charge the cells depend on the type of cells and the charger you have.
Generally I tray them with a Robitronics tray b4 charging back up again. If you charge at home, repeak the cells with the same settings but watch the temperature. For best performance, run the cells 10 mins after it is charged. The truth is, 5A is always enough for any application. Charging any higher will result in heat and permanent damage to the cells.

Do NOT cycle the packs out of fun. It will only reduce your cell's life by 1 cycle hahaha.Unless you don't know what condition a certain pack is.

Bateri yang ada "punch" penting di dalam perlumbaan RC. Bayangkan dalam masa 5 minit, pelumba mesti mengekalkan kuasa bateri yang semaksima untuk bersaing. Disamping ini juga motor berkuasa tinggi perlukan bateri yang baik untuk berfungsi semasa perlumbaan.

Bila baca artikel RC terdapat  banyak pendekatan untuk mendapatkan bateri yang berkuasa dan boleh bersaing. Cth :Guna AMP lebih kalau hendak kuasa. Guna AMP kurang jika hendak hayat lama.

Bateri ni pun nak kena latih juga untuk kerja keras atau untuk jangkahayat... kalau kita latih dengan cas dan discaj dengan Amp tinggi... hasilnya punch dia pun tinggi juga... tapi kalau kita cas & discaj dengan kadar rendah... jangkahayat nya bertambah tapi kurang punch.  Itu aku punya agak-agak la..
