What a race it was!!
Although the participants turnover was somehow lower than expected for both GP and EP respectively, we ( KRCC ) did everything in our capacity make the race a reality. Since this is our first ever r/c event in Kudat, I on behalf of the Kudat Remote Control Club ( KRCC) would like to thank all the racers for the support you have given.

The Final Race on Day 2 was hampered by the wet track due to a heavy downfall over the night. But the EP was able to run 2 Finals in the mid-morning before the rain continues till afternoon. The winner was based on these 2 final runs.
But it was a bad call for the GP when it was unable to run in the final due to the rain. The GP winner was based on the 2 best of the 6 qualifying heat on the Day 1 race.
The trophy presentation was held at the resort lobby by the Kudat Golf & Marina Resort Manager Mr. Kenneth Yap accompanied by The KRCC precident Mr. Sisal Salleh.
On his short note, Mr. Kenneth Yap said that the 2nd and the future Kudat Golf & Marina Resort Challenge Trophy R/C race to be among the biggest in Sabah and to become an International event and highly sought after race with bigger prizes await winners.
So prepare your self for the next year challange cup for just around the corner!!
