WWW
Intellect has introduced Intellect 3800mAh battery. Price is about RM28/pc.

Comment by user: Good product, the average voltage about 1.3v~1.35v, is higher than intellect 3600 & GP 3700

GP also has introduced GP3700mAh battery. Price also about RM28/pc.

it is quite possible to increase the charging current, but only if you have expert knowledge of the circuitry. I don;t know how to do it, i doubt if any do...

Force repeak means to charge the battery immediately after it finish charging.

if you charge at lower amps, i would recommend you to force repeak it right after it completes the 1st time, then use it IMMEDIATELY after that.

What is the meaning of force repeak? Do I need to do this everytime after playing? Can I increase the AMP of the charger by changing the electronics inside? Huh

Thanks Smiley

I've received my batch of Intellect 3600 Sub-C cells.
_______________________________________________
Here's some charging instructions i got from a card that came with the cells:
1. The intellect battery works better at high temperature. Best environmental temp is 25-30C
2. Please charge the battery at 6A in order to get the best average voltage value. And be sure not to cool down the battery by using fan, etc.(Cut-off setting :-dV/cell = 0.005-0.01V; -dV/6 cell = 0.03-0.04mV)

If the battery is charged around 4A, it does not reach the best average voltage value. Consequently, the battery does not release its full power.
_______________________________________
After assembling them, I ran a cycle to check what's up.
5A charge,5mV delta.At 10A discharge;
Avg - 7.414V
Discharge capacity :  3599mAh - Yeah BABY!!
IR - 46m Ohm

compared to a matched GP3300 pack(1.156V,422s,3.1IR) that i have( very new, 6-7 cycles old),
5A charge,5mV delta.At 10A discharge;
Avg - 7.423V
Discharge capacity : 3280
IR - 50m Ohm

The conclusion that i can gather is this:
Voltage is reasonably high, and considering the fact that the Intellect cells are NON-ZAPPED while the match GP pack is ZAPPED,matched.
Also, IR is very low already. This means greater punch and power delivery to the motor.
I believe zapping them will yield a higher voltage number.

Most importantly is that capacity is REALLY 3600 as claimed on the cell label.

To all the guys who bought some cells off me, congratulations. I think we've hit the jackpot here. Cheap and powerful cells...Last step is IFMAR approval. I'm waiting for some of these cells to appear as matched and zapped and I', definitely switching over to them. Bye Bye GP!!!

How about charging it at 4.5A, because my charger's highest AMP is only 4.5A?

Pansan ? brand mana tu ? jangan pengsan sudah..ehehehe  Grin

Memang disebut pengsan. Azam dan Azhar dah guna bateri ini. Bateri ini adalah dari pengeluar Intellect juga sama seperti Excell bateri.

After a couple of cycles with these cells, here's what i discovered:
They are really warm after a run, and i suspect it's been built that way.
Also, the increased runtime (about 50s) can cause a lot of heat build up in your equipment as well.
Take note to change your gearing a little (lower them if you want to run even longer, higher if you want to take advantage of the high capacity)

Also, it seems that you should run these packs when they are WARM.
Best is to run after 2-3 minutes of cooling after charge.Better yet, don't cool it! Recommend at least 5A linear charge with 15-30mV peak per pack.

I do notice that these cells don't give as much punch as my matched GPs, but what can you expect when comparing Rm100+ packs with RM200-300 packs? The runtimes are much longer and it gives me 3-4 laps more. With the proper gearing, you'll get the car going just as fast.

The matched version of these cells (zapped and matched) should pose quite a challenge to the GP cells.
