the Reedy motor can be ordered already. at least 1 unit has been sold by tp-racing.
But the ESC has not been released yet. To tell you guys the truth, these ESC's heat up way too much. Don't be surprised if one of these ESC's melt if you dont gear it properly or if the weather is too hot.
I'm guessing LRP is doing what they can to improve on this issue, so as to release a really reliable unit.
Therefore don't expect anything too soon.

LRP nie nampak hebat... kalo betul tak ade moto limit ler. aku pakai novak SS5800 & orion vortex (sensorless)... takat nie vortex tue memang lagi hebat dari novak ss... tapi tak leh main kat trek kecik/ banyak brek... thermel memenjang sensorless... walaupun power lebih... tapi... controller... bagak sangat & susah nak masuk kerete (vortex aku ler).
nie... M.tronic Genesis baru keluor... menarik gak...

I'm thinking this Reedy motor and LRP ESC might work with the Novak BL system because it uses the same sensor config as the Novak BL. I think added together both units will cost up to RM1300+ One funny thing for Malaysians though, we might have to pay way more for it since Reedy distributor is TP-Racing, LRP distributor is HPC.So if both units are sold separately we consumers will suffer a lot.

pade aku kan. rase nyer sensor base yg ditawarkan ni mungkin lebih baik.. sedangkan sensor base dari novak pon ok jek
lagipon sensor dan sensorless tak lah banyak beza nya tul tak samdol
correct me if i'm wrong i'm just a new user of brushless....
Banyak beza...
aku pakai sensorless takkan aku nak sokong sensor based esc??
Memang bagus la LRP keluarkan ESC dua alam brush dan brushless serta reedy hasilkan satu brushless motor. Tapi aku terkilan sikit pasal diaorang keluarkan dari jenis sensor. Mula2 masa diaorang (LRP) keluarkan, aku ingat ia lebih kurang macam Schulze U-Force; tapi ; tapi harga lebih kurang same jer.
LRP “Sphere” Brushed/Brushless Speed Control [Printer Friendly Version] Topic: R/C Cars Category: News ArticleID: 1264 Date: 10/26/2004 10:37:00 AM Written By: WildHobbies
LRP Electronics announces the new “Sphere” digital speed control. This revolutionary new speed control offers racers an easy intermediate “step” into the new era of brushless motors, because it’s the first competition-level ESC that can be used with both conventional brushed motors and the new brushless, sensored motors such as the Reedy NEO One.
The LRP Sphere is actually 4 speed controls in one, offering the user a choice of Forward/Brake/Reverse or just Forward/Brake operation when used with brushed or brushless motors… with practically NO motor limits!
The Sphere offers all the well-known benefits of brushless motor systems… minimum maintenance, tremendous power and high efficiency, in a small-footprint package of only 33.3 by 37.7mm (roughly in between the sizes of a Quantum Competition and an IPC V7.1). The Sphere features a 3-way multi-protection system against overload, thermal and short protection, as well as convenient external solder tabs for all the power wires.
The Sphere’s sensored design enabled LRP to develop a brushless system with the feel of a conventional brushed motor, with all the inherent driving characteristics, smooth, linear operation, no stuttering, and a full range of adjustable features. The Sphere expands on the LRP Quantum Competition 2’s easy-to-use setup platform with FOUR adjustable modes:
Mode 1: Brushed/Brushless and Forward/Brake/Reverse or Forward/Brake selection.
Mode 2: Punch Control, with three engine maps: Sportsman, for brushless operation limited to 24, 000 RPM, Low Grip, using LRP’s intelligent current limiting system, and Modified, for unlimited RPM and linear throttle operation.
Mode 3: Initial Brake with four levels: Linear, smooth, medium, or aggressive. Allows the driver to adjust the feel of his brakes.
Mode 4: Automatic Brake, adjustable in four levels: No auto-brake, smooth auto-braking, medium auto-braking, and aggressive auto-braking. This feature is especially important when using brushless motors, as it enables you to closely simulate the feel of driving a conventional brushed motor (with its inherent “drag” brake action) when coasting in neutral.
The LRP Sphere is LRP’s first ESC for the new era of brushless motors… and simply the most advanced competition level digital speed control in the world today.

Tapi bila tengok reganya.... mau pengsan dibuatnya..... main Kilo Ringgit aje..
