thats extreme.. just to add... if u want to utilize 540 motor, u will have to hack your gearbox to fit the motor pinion direct to the big gear. THis requires some degree of trial by error...  oh, btw, u will need a biiig area , flat , free from obstacle to play...  once your car each more than 30++ km/h .. it can easily crash into pieces..   Smiley

540 motor can use center gear.

if wan play 540 motor, better use JAAB Type R / ECT box , first battery use 7.2V 1500~3300 mAh , Turbo 2nd battery use 7.2V 1500~3300 mAh.

WWW
welcome to QD world, I'am a QD maniac from Indonesia, from my experience if you are trying to modify QD it is best to use a basic set board of 4 relays, which can be found in ACE or WEIDEY QD cars.

then you modify them with two speed (first speed operates 1 battery 12V 2100mha and 2nd speed use 7.2V 3300mha), motor use 540 motors, change your relays to 9V or 12V.

the car can reached the speed of 100kmh+

I'm a llama!

hi all.

i wish to enter this hobby since our local mall sells the Randa QD cars. i have a few questions, though.

using 9.6v batt, stock motor (280) and adding a BASIC turbo kit, how fast can these cars go?

i have seen rosdi's free schematics on the basic turbo kit and i'm quite confident i can make one myself.

here's the link of the diagram

http://www.qd-race.com/turbokit.html

pls reply in english. thanks
